These eight airlines account for 98% of the flights and ground handling activities.


●American Airlines 

 American Airlines is headquartered in LaGuardia Airport, Virginia and has a fleet of about 32,000 aircraft of different models, types and sizes, a total number of employees of 56,000 and a financial base of $31 billion. However, this entity owns just 5% of the U.S. domestic airline market, compared to Boeing’s 30%. According to Bloomberg International Aviation, US airlines own only 7.3% of new global capacity. This entity is leading the race to enter the Chinese markets and become the main hub for business travel in the Indo-Pacific region.
